This Weeks Delish!

Is it Spring yet???? The last few days here in Germany have just been absolutely blissful with the sun shining and the snow melting away. I love when I can discard my Winter hat and gloves and just bask in the heat of the sun. Unfortunately, that only lasted about four days and now we are back to the gray, dismal cloudiness that so seems like a permanent state of mind here. Oh well, soon the sun will be a more permanent fixture and I can start pumping out lots of fresh, fruity flavored desserts- lemon and berries here I come!

I’ve never baked with Guinness before- this Chocolate Stout Cake would be a great place to start!

This Weeks Pick: Full of lots of delicious Irish Cream Liqueur flavor, these Bailey’s Cheesecake Brownies were pretty darn good! The flavor is 100% chocolate and Bailey’s. There isn’t even any vanilla extract added to the brownie batter to subdue the liqueur flavor. If you like your Bailey’s and sweets, then these are totally for you!

You should definitely bake with Guinness. Adding Guinness to a chocolate cake is spectacular. My all time favorite chocolate cake has guinness in it, it’s basically just so chocolatey. The weather in so cal is the same, a few days of shine then crazy rain! I want spring!
